A follow up on my gigantic list
I blogged about a while ago?

Well,
I did swim.
A lot.
And got water up my nose.
Kinda inevitable,
When your swimming.

I got ice cream
From my favorite ice cream man,
In the form of a snow cone.
I sucked all of the tri-colored juice out of it
And threw the ice hunk
That was left over
In the sand
And ate the mushy gumball
At the bottom.

The t-shirt tan
Is pretty gone.
I got sunburn
The first day of vacation
And it just continued on
For the rest of vacation.
From red,
To painful red,
To pinkish,
To peeling.
A snake during molting season
Or an onion before it's chopped,
Take your pick.

I flew a kite,
A red, white and blue
Striped one
That looked like a diamond turned on its side
And had a tail on its right and left.
TWO TAILS = AWESOME.
It was worth it.
Again,
You gotta fly a kite yourself
To know why.
So I got my wind, too,
If you were wondering.

I read one book for school.

I read all my library books,
Plus some I got at the library down there,
Plus some books my mom brought.
It had to have been like ten books.
Nerdy, much?

I passed the time
Reading, playing Mario,
And watching public television
Because there's no cable.

I haven't touched my soccer cleats.
I will, though.
Don't worry.

I GOT THE SHED.
You won't believe it.
I decided to take
Pictures of lots of sheds.
All over the neighborhood.
I'd go out on my bike
And take pictures of sheds.

The sheds at the beach
Are way better then the sheds here.

I just got back from book club.
I didn't read the book
Because they didn't have any
Copies at the library.
Or any in the city,
For that matter.
I kind of wish I did.

I have all this stuff
I need to do for school
In the fall that
I haven't started.
I just realized I have two
Good sized math packets
I'm supposed to complete

Good sized novels
I'm supposed to read
But haven't yet.

I also got a whole bunch of books
At the library yesterday
That I hope to finish.
I found a list of books online
And Iwant to read them all.
But there's a good hundred on there
So I'm gonna have to get busy.

I also need to break in
My new soccer cleats.

I got back from camp yesterday.
It was quite an experience.
It was good to be home.
I really missed my cat
And my fish
And Patrick.
His birthday's tomorrow.
I need to make him a card.

Okay.
I'll post something when I get back.

Of the shed I found
When I was riding my bike
Last week.
I almost got it,
But the shed owners were outside
So I didn't stop.
It's the best shed,
Indisputably.
You'll just have to see it to believe it.
