Didn't hear the bell at lunch,
Didn't bother rushing.
I wasn't tardy though,
Just took my seat.
Mr. Monson had us correct homework,
Fill in the blank and translate.
I forgot to translate, I don't read directions so good,
Managed to get a 5 out of 35.
Eheu!
But really, I didn't care.
Mr. Monson let me collect
The green correction pens
He lends.
Then we took a pop quiz,
Jessica the sophmore had already warned us
'Bout it.
We don't usually take pop quizes,
But today we did.
I aced it, passed with flying colors,
I know my verb endings perfectly.
-o/m, -s, -t, -mus, -tis, -nt.
We proceeded to finish
Our long, made-for-tv special
On how smart the Romans were,
How they were way underestimated in their
Roman brainpower.
We learned about their lightning rods
And the Baghdad Battery,
Which Mr. Monson thought would make
A great rock band name.
After it was over,
There was a short special on
Flamenco,
Which I thought might have been Latin,
But wasn't.
A lady from Spain
Explained all about it
And clicked her heels across the dance floor
And told us that Americans are now getting out
Their feelings through flamenco
More then ever.
It was great.
But then it cut to the Pink Panther,
And Mr. Monson went to turn it off,
While we begged to watch it,
And he said,
okayjusthisoneepisode.
We watched the Pink Panther
Run around the house
With a dog chasing after him
And a dad that keeps sticking him back in
His toy chest.
All the while
That Pink Panther song
Playing in the background.
Then Mr. Monson thought he could
Just stop the video halfway through
And chat about ancient electricity,
And we groaned and reviewed,
Then told him that we had horrible childhoods,
No one ever showed us Pink Panther.
Woe is us.
Beth piped in
That we are technically learning about our heritage,
Seeing as we're panthers and all.
So we did,
Watch the show, that is.
Pink Panther got chased more,
Something with a sandwich
And we didn't finish it,
And then the bell rang again,
And I was off.

Feel like blogging?
Today
I ate lunch
Directly across
Of one of those poles
With a mirror on it?
It was so creepy,
Me staring back at me when
I'm trying to chew.
It was like eating
With sara price, joan, pinhead,
And then me,
Keeping tabs on myself.
Almost found it hard to concentrate.
Ugh,
Never doing that agin.

typical.
It's not seven o' clock yet.
My mom is making frozen pizza.
Canyoureallymakefrozenpizza?
No.
But you can warm it up
And seeing as our microwave is
BROKEN
She needs to warm 'em in the oven,
Which makes it seem like baking,
But it's not.
I wish I could play the quads.
One day I'll get it
Just not quite yet.
My drumstick snapped in half
While I was playing
At the football game last Saturday
Which should have been mortifying
But I couldn't stop laughing enough to be embarrased.
Well we finally got the new ones in yesterday
So now I've got some proper sticks.
I hope I don't have anything at all
To do this weekend,
If I do I might scream.
I feel like sleeping,
Grey's Anatomy and the Red Sox game
Are on at conflicting times tonight
And I've got a ton of homework.
& THAZ WAT'S POPPIN.

*yawns*
My hair is wet.
Not quite soaking,
But seminoticably not dry.
And my palms are sweaty
And the red permanent marker on them
Faded to hot pink
And now it's almost gone.
I have an essay to write
That I've been putting off.
I watched Grey's Anatomy tonight,
Which I thought I wouldn't enjoy
Because I've told myself for years that I
Hate hospital shows.
Guess what?
I've changed my mind.
It's superb on all accounts,
Acting, plot line, well thought out characters,
Not to mention attractive doctors,
Got it all.
Seriously.
I'm watching next week.

Hey, you know what?
Today's the first day all year
It's been truly cold.
For me at least.
I noticed it at the bus stop this morning.
Standing on the exact crack in the sidewalk
I stand on everday,
I saw that
My breath fogged up the air
And my socks weren't warm enough
And everybody passing by in their cars
Was bundled up in their coats.
Because
It was cold.
So that means
Summer is officially over.
No more sunburns,
Or taking pictures of sheds,
Or having nothing to do
Or corn on the cob.
Now its eatsleepbreathe
Soccer and homework.
Just the way things are, I guess.
All of a sudden,
The green fades from trees and grass
And we've got winter.
It was just so cold,
I was forced to write a haiku about it.

as for right now..
I forgot to do my math homework yesterday.
RST, 123.
I'm toast, who cares.
I just chatted with TMT online.
"briii babiii, it's t.t."
All the crayons in my 64 pack are broken,
Minus mauvelous.
That one's intact.
Oh, and I got a goal today.
xD
