As soon as I saw it out the window,
I pulled on my boots,
Ran outside
And watched it swirl all over the place.
My brother said it sounded like
Rice Crispies
When it bounced off the hoods of our jackets.
He was right, it did.
The snow turned to rain really fast,
But it was fun when it lasted.
I had a great vacation.
I really did.
I watched unhealthy amounts of
Grey's Anatomy,
Finished my book,
Did my math homework
And started my history project to boot.
Thanksgiving was nice, it's a nice holiday.
I feel a really busy week coming on,
Lot's of work on the play.
I'm very excited.
Should be great.
Well, I'm happy,
Plus Desperate Housewives is on tonight.
There was a referee at my sister's
Basketball game
That looked just like Dave.
I got scared just looking at him.
Heh,
I have the same taste in television as
Middle aged women.

today was great.
It just was.
Things went well.
It wasn't, like, the best day ever
Or anything.
Close, but not the best ever.
It was more of things just going well for me.
Today started out bad though,
I had to wait at my bus stop
In the rain
And retake my stupid math quiz,
And I'm not too sure that I did well on it.
But that's beside the point.
I got a 99 on my biology test.
I freaked out a bit.
And the candles from our band fundraiser
Came in,
And I smelled them all.
And I didn't do so hot on my Latin quiz,
But class ended before I got the chance to
See how I did,
So it's not all bad.
Math was aiight,
Nothing special except for Sr. Louise.
Mass was good too, we had the cute priest again.
At history we got advice from the librarian
About searching for information on the 'net.
And I studied the ppl o' Yoruba.
I learned that the Yorubans were the first
To cultivate the yam.
Yessssssss.
We clapped all through religion,
And finished that great movie in english,
And play practice was decent.
I don't have really great plans for Thanksgiving.
Football game in the morning, but the weather's
Supposed to be bad.
Some of the family is coming over for dinner,
Nothing big.
And basically not much else.
I plan on just enjoying the long weekend,
Might get some homework done,
But mostly just try getting Grey's Anatomy
To work on my computer,
Read a lot.
Go to bed early, wake up late.
I didn't think I would be,
But I'm actually kind of excited
For this break.
Heh, who knew.

leave
I raked today.
I wanted to, I find raking fun.
Something about
Moving around soggy brown leaves
Appeals to me.
I found 16 worms in various
Splotches of dirt all across the yard
And when the wind blew,
It made everything smell like
Peppercorn.

why am I as happy as a clam?
The football team
Actually won today.
No, really,
I'm serious.
I wached every moment
That dumb game.
I mean,
I PAYED ATTENTION.
No one in the band
Seemed to think it was
An unusual occurence.
Actually winning.
I completely tuned out
Those next to me
Throwing m&ms,
Yelling about throwing m&ms,
Complaining about m&ms,
Arguing about who started throwing the m&ms,
And I watched the boys
I've only ever seen in the hallway
Throw around the pigskin.
And score touchdowns.
And yes, they scored.
Doubled their original amount of
Touchdowns all season
In this one game.
They beat Commerce
44-22.
I talked to this girl in the choir,
Who was filling in for my twin in the play
Yesterday
That I basically just met yesterday,
And I chatted with her about
How perfect the score was.
She thought it was great too.
Eleven's her favorite number,
So she couldn't have been
Much more ecstatic.
Yeah, that was greatness.
's bout it.
